We have been very happy to start meeting socially each week and over the next few weeks, as Covid19 restrictions ease, we are hoping to welcome back more current members and also welcome new members.
IHDC is unique. We meet every Wednesday. IHDC is a non-profit group surviving on ticket sales, membership fees and grants from Ivers Parish Council, Pinewood Studios and Buckinghamshire Council. The club has over 40 members of all ages and abilities. We try to make our shows open and accessible to all members by supporting and adapting for members with learning, mental health and physical disabilities. We work together as one community to put on great shows.
We are starting to think about Panto (to be performed in late January 2022) which will be Rapunzel, written by our own published author Lee Hall. It's been a long break so we're starting slowly and early so we can all ease back into it. This means that this is a fantastic no-pressure time to join. IHDC is great way to keep your mind and body active!
Until restrictions completely lift, there are some limits in place but we'd like you to come down ready for the fun to really start. We're even starting script readings!
If you are a new member and thinking of joining, please have a look at the JOIN US page and then drop us an email. We're currently meeting every Wednesday between 7pm and 8:15pm but this will extend to the normal 7pm to 10pm from the Summer.
If you're still not sure, have a look at this video made by one of our Junior Members during her A Level Film and Media course:
Hope to hear from you soon,
Chairman and Dame of IHDC
